WE ARE VERY IMPERFECT

We must accept very humbly that we are very imperfect. At times we try to improve and conduct appropriately but that seldom lasts long. It is difficult for us to completely avoid getting influenced by our surroundings. None can abandon all his efforts for survival in this physical world.

Having born on this earth we become indebted to many, living or dead, who extended selfless support to us for our survival and growth. None can pay off the debts due to his ancestors that he carries. For example, when we study about an ocean or a scientific law, and gather considerable information about it within a few minutes, we indeed, rarely think of those who devoted their entire life for exploring the facts and generating knowledge for the benefit of the mankind. Even our enemies or those who harmed us left lessons for us that carried us forward in our lives.

When we live in this world, more often we try to serve ourselves rather than others. In our efforts to live, even with a little more comfort than earlier, we, knowingly or unknowingly, cause harm to nature or add some more violence or greed in the stock of evils the humanity carries. It is strange that we rarely think of what we are going to pass on to our future generations; whether barren lands or a more hostile world, or both?

We cannot become perfect but we can keep on reminding us that we have some responsibility for the world we live in.

We are indebted to many, especially our ancestors for they gave us strength; and are committed to many, especially our future generations for they are our hope. It is our sacred duty to offer them a part of our lives.

True happiness of a victory lies in being victorious over our selfishness and our indifference to those who are miserable.

You can stand tall without standing on some one. You can be a victor without having victims.
