SPIRITUALITY…5:

It is not difficult to know what a right thought is. Scriptures and religions describe right thoughts in different languages. For example, ‘don’t harm others’ is a right thought. But, do we conduct according to this thought? We take a flat on rent in a building in a metropolitan city to live. Eighty years back there had been a thick forest on the land where the township existed now. Where have the trees, animals, birds and greenery gone? It was their land. We occupied it. They had to make way for us because we were stronger than them and were selfish to look after our comforts only. Did we act according to the right thought? If one is honest he cannot defend most of the ways man conducted himself and still conducts today. Even if we cannot reverse the wheel completely, we can at least start taking care of others without permitting our self interests coming in the way.
