We
must rectify the errors committed by us. We should also rectify the errors
committed by our ancestors, considering it as our duty. But, what should we do
with the errors that are being continuously committed by many without any intentions
or efforts by the most to reduce them or to rectify them?
Mistakes may be made because of the ignorance or
shortsightedness. People may make mistakes because their priority is to look
after their selfish interests. People even make mistakes simply because others
make it. People make mistakes because making mistakes is easier and safer than
not making them. What to do when making mistakes has become a social order? We ‘overlook’
a mistake because if we try to rectify it that may cause a social disorder. We
keep on overlooking mistakes till the mistakes become a part and parcel of the
existing social order or a new ‘disorder’, popularly known as a new social
order, is established.
We may be proud of our superior intellect, but we are very
timid in the matters of heart. We are not bold enough to stop committing
errors. We are not prepared to face the consequences of our efforts for
rectifying our errors; we doubt our abilities in this matter and our short
lifespan worries us. We seek happiness, but the path we adopt for it is
cemented with our fears, our worries and our shortcomings. We create disorder
and try to find order in it.
