The day one starts believing that he is a leader competent enough to
lead others; someone different from many others belonging to a
distinguished class of individuals; he ceases to be a leader.
Notwithstanding all his knowledge and the skills, he becomes a worthless
person who cannot lead others, move along with or follow others.
He survives like a prestigious burden for the society or an organization, which can’t be disposed of or recycled. Societies and organizations often use many such spiritless leaders like fancy idols of marketplace for performance of several social or organizational ostentatious rituals sans any faith.

Leadership is a duty for ‘being’ with others, for others. Leadership is
a commitment to serve others in all the three ways, that is, manasa,
vacha and karmana (by the thoughts, actions and speech).
