DEHUMANIZING EFFECTS OF MODERN EDUCATION SYSTEM

There is nothing wrong in verifying if a student has acquired the knowledge imparted to him; but, the system of hurriedly picking up a few who have learned more than the rest is a fake. And, when one declares that the students, thus picked up, would deliver more for the benefit of mankind than the others, he is either a fool or his intentions are doubtful.

Needless to say that this system does not serve the purpose of exploring into the unknown and creating new knowledge as that requires genuine commitment towards truth, patience and freedom from all kinds of bias towards existing knowledge.

The modern education system ensures that a few among many, who have collected a minimum level of information, developed a defined set of mental and physical skills, ability to function in a disciplined manner, and more importantly, a very well developed attitude to achieve something more than the others leaving them far behind; can be selected to fulfill the needs of their future employers. Primarily the modern education system is about picking up people who have the right aptitude for competing with others and a strong desire to supersede others in their selfish interests; for such people, excellence means nothing but being at the top.

A genuine concern for the fellow human beings is the essence of humanity. How can one be concerned for fellow human beings if he has learned to push or leave others behind to succeed and to excel? The modern education system produces servants that can serve their masters well. Such masters serve themselves and not the humanity. Those who serve humanity are the servants themselves, they cannot hire others.

The modern education system delivers such youth that is primarily concerned about him and those who hire him. Being concerned about the pain and sufferings of others is not something that he is educated in. Humanity is only a subject of academic interest for him.

  1. Getting trained in following the Heart, in discernment of what comes from the Source, is indeed most needed. This training and way of living could be given at schools, if teachers are trained themselves in following their Path of Reconnection. I am not sure if only schools have to teach this, I think it should be everywhere around, in every aspect of our culture and thoughts.
I am hoping that very soon people understand your concerns and start to think about how doing it otherwise. Sure, it can happen and sure, it will contribute to real Heaven in Life.
    Love to you all.
