Nothing
remains the same as what it had been a little while ago. Each moment appears
before us offering new challenges. Some, who have tuned their minds with the
thoughts of success and failure, are perpetually stressed to prepare themselves
to deal with every ‘unknown’ moment. The question is, “if we have no option,
but to deal with the ‘unknown’, what kind of preparedness we can possibly aim
at?”
Not us, but the nature can answer this question. Each element
or component of the nature ‘allows’ itself to learn from its surroundings and
circumstances. Yes, the important message is that the each element ‘allows’ itself
to learn, not ‘enforce’ itself to learn. Coming back to ourselves; a few
moments back, we and our surroundings were born together, and then lived
together during subsequent moments. Let us ask ourselves if we allowed
ourselves to learn from our surroundings during those moments of togetherness,
or we carried ourselves the way we had been trained earlier, that is like an
entity separated from our surroundings? Obviously, if we had allowed ourselves
to learn from our surroundings, just as our surroundings helped them to learn
from us, the future moments would be relatively more known to the both of us.
We are human beings gifted with the ability to think for our
benefit and for exploring the truth of the things. We must think, as independently
as possible, remaining connected with people of exemplary character; it is our
duty. But, we must not conduct as slaves of our mind, intellect and ego. We
must conduct coherently with those who also live with us, sharing our existence
with them and allowing us to learn from them.
