It
is not possible to create and establish new traditions for the benefit of the
society without extensive experimenting with the right thoughts, right actions
and the use of right words for introspection and expression. No one can set an
objective of creating new traditions. Similarly, no experiment can ever be
planned with a motive of creating new traditions. It is only a dedicated
process, backed by an indomitable will, to make the man free of the traditions
that become an obstinate cause of his suffering or condition him to make errors
knowingly or unknowingly.
There can’t be anything theoretical about creating and
establishing new traditions that serve the humanity well for a long time. A few
successful experiments for the welfare of the mankind are also not sufficient
to conclude that the work is progressing well; so much so, no particular
generation can feel contended about delivering a legacy of much worth to the
next generation. The realm of highly acceptable theories and ideologies is much
different from the realm of traditions. For example, while we think of
democracy as the ultimate political solution to the problems of man, we hardly
accept it as an established tradition.
Traditions are not created by a few; they are the expressions
of mature righteousness emanating from the thought and deeds of many. When the
man willfully surrenders to the courageous will of those with exceptionally
compassionate character to collectively restrain himself against his mistakes
due to his own ignorance, the traditions are born.
While it is true that no one can decide and plan for creating
a tradition that is inherently human, many fearless among us can experience uncontrollable
pangs of compassion that coerce them to think and act to remedy the pains of
those who are in pain. If and when such fearless and selfless people from among
us pledge never to give up their struggle to remedy the sufferings of the
mankind, the thoughts and actions for creating and establishing right
traditions gather necessary energy and momentum to benefit not only the
humanity, but all that exists on the planet earth and in its approachable surroundings.
