It
is an undisputed fact that our life in this world attaches us with the world.
We cannot altogether negate the concept that our life, being short term in
nature, does not acquire the merit of being viewed as an absolute truth.
However, we may not be making an error if we accept our life as a short lived
reality. If, we, together with fellow human beings, accept our life as a
practical reality that can be nurtured with a view to making it a happy
experience for all, we may, perhaps be able to create an environment that may
keep all of us happier than ever before. In general, it may be agreed by all,
that to build an environment for happy living, we, individually, have to feel
responsible for all that exists with us; and devote a part of us for the well
being of all. This is not a new concept. The concept of Man’s Dharma, (Manav
Dharma; the duty of a man towards his surroundings) has been
accepted, in principle, in all the humanitarian societies.
