The courageous withdraws; the timid runs away. The courageous
is restrained; the timid is constrained. In difficulty the courageous becomes
silent to listen to his inner voice and reaffirms his trust on his immortality;
the timid does just the opposite, he tries to listen to the feeblest of the
sounds that may bring death to him. The courageous, never commits suicide; he
gives away his life for the benefit of others. The timid dies a thousand deaths
in a day; and all to avoid losing something that he does not actually have. The
courageous, never thinks about losing; the timid never thinks of winning, he
cannot think beyond surviving.
