Awards and rewards can never be the true
sources of encouragement and inspiration. Worldly awards and rewards does not
acknowledge anything other than the satisfaction of the progressive
selfish desires (selfish desires have no end) of a few who have no genuine
needs.
Any
meaningful action can only be selfless and any purposeful effort must be for
the benefit of those who have genuine needs. The needy can reciprocate an act
of kindness with nothing else but some gratitude. It is only the enriched
consciousness of the one who acts selflessly that becomes an award in itself.
The
true rewards or awards have nothing physical about them. They could only be
some kind of Divine indicators experienced by those who have been awarded,
prompting them to continue on the path they have chosen for themselves.
