SUFFERING HAS TO PRECEDE ABSENCE OF SUFFERING

There are many ways to achieve what must be achieved. No spiritual thinker should raise his eye brows reacting to the word ‘achieve’. After all even Moksha (emancipation) also needs to be achieved by the human beings who think about it and make efforts for it, right in this mundane or so called illusory world. Why eternal peace for oneself only; why not for many? Why must be that selfish as to think of our emancipation only; why not for many with who we have been living since ages? Answers to all the questions that appear in a compassionate mind come from the same source, that is, the thoughts that get matured to become a strong conviction ready to be acted upon for the same goal the mankind had been looking for right from the day he appeared on this earth. Undoubtedly, we have to suffer to eradicate our sufferings. The message from our friend Mr. Ivan Pozo-Illas is being reproduced hereunder. We fully agree with him and are grateful to him for having made a valuable contribution.

Ivan Pozo-Illas has left a new comment on your post "THE TRADITION OF HUMAN SUFFERING":

Hello Kumar,

This world our world is finite in comparison to our infinite souls transcending the bondage we are each subjected to at random, by intent or otherwise. We as a species lack the sufficient leverage collectively to attain the maturity and foresight to eradicate the great evils. Be it poverty, famine, war, and hatred. Especially when the populace is greatly disjointed in a mutual resolve to succeed together. Smaller organizations have the flexibility to act with discipline, but the larger the entity upwards to the scale of governments there becomes diminishing returns.

However ironically suffering is a backward form of grace to prepare the sincere through character building and mutual healing. If humanity was sufficiently mature collectively as peaches and roses there would be no need to reincarnate outside of paradise. Yes, the work or duty is always great, but so is our convictions to make a lasting difference to unite what is worth keeping.
