VAGDEVI SPIRITUAL PROCESS [#15113] NOT THIS, NOT THIS

No thought should ever be suppressed. However, opinions should be formed on a particular thought only after it passes the acid test of being at least harmless, if not beneficial in any manner, after having been acted upon by many at different times, by different set of people, at different places and in different circumstances.

Thoughts are useless unless they cannot be acted upon by at least a few for the benefit of at least a few, but without causing even the slightest of harm to anybody.

People often find it difficult to express things with the help of the words exactly the way they intend to convey them. The words, more often than not, are deceptive; but, we need them for pondering over and conveying our thoughts and opinions to others, and also to ourselves for further processing.

A well meaning thought, even if it does not agree with your opinion, must be received with open mind, for it may help in revising your opinion or even strengthening your opinion. In this world full of dualities and opposites the true knowledge emerges from the lack of knowledge, just as the thought of contentment emerges from greed, nonviolence from violence and happiness from sorrow.
