VAGDEVI SPIRITUAL PROCESS [#17185] BEING ONE LIKE THE OTHERS

The thought that the man has to conquer the nature is flawed. At the best we can say that we are an important participant in the affairs of the nature. We are important because we can think and carve out our destiny with our efforts. Perhaps, the man became so overawed by the power of the nature in the past that he overreacted to his struggle for his survival. In his early days on the planet earth the man found it safe to live in groups and formed human societies to summon enough strength to protect him from the vagaries of the nature. But, when he had learnt the ways to be relatively secure, he began to realize that the human life is inseparable from the nature with all the life forms existing therewith.

The wise among the men, intently observed, experienced and contemplated deeply, before advising the human race that the man has no option to respect the nature and also one another for its happy survival.

Today, the modern man is learning to become more concerned about his natural environment, but he is becoming more and more self-centered when it comes to his relationship with one another. No one has any right to encroach upon the lawful share of the natural wealth that is essential for the survival of each and every living being. Here, the law of the nature must apply. The law of nature cannot be substituted by any of the manmade laws. All, living beings, without exception, have been allotted quota of natural wealth for their survival. Any manmade demarcations are unlawful.

True, we have gone very far with our ill-conceived notions. But, it is the duty of the mankind to use his intellect to rectify the error of the past, and reinforce the natural order. If we fail to do it, it would amount to threatening the nature. In fact, we are already under a great threat; the only thing is that we are looking elsewhere.

Each one of us has to be the one like the others.
