Human intellect is an explorer. It wants to
know more about the sensory inputs received through man’s senses. If something
more than what is already known is found, it is encouraged to go deeper.
However, man’s intellect is rather casual and much less enthusiastic about going
deeper into the man’s inner feelings. It often takes many things for granted about
human feelings.
True
introspection is a rarity. The man lacks an adequate measure of scientific
temperament about the matters of his inner self. He is often found to celebrate
his biases and prejudices. Why is he much inclined to keep many things about
his own self under the wraps? Is it because they may reveal to him, in a naked
form, what the man does not want to know? Does he find living his entire life
without abandoning his conceit, more appropriate? Does the man’s ego in its
distorted from making the man alien to himself?
