LET IT SIMPLY BE

Let us not call it a target, a goal, an objective, a vision or a mission. Let us develop a part of us that is well beyond us, but is not separated from us; that is loving and is concerned, but  excludes us from its love and concern; that is free, but not interfering with anybody’s freedom, not even ours; that makes its own way without being guided by us or by anyone else; that neither seeks happiness, nor is afraid of sorrow; and that knows no rules, but the rules of right intentions, intentions of giving and nothing other than giving.

Let this little known part of us not depend on us for its existence, nor should it be habituated to us in any way. It should neither be real, nor be imaginary. It should only be. Let this unknown non-entity fill all the vacant space that surrounds us.

And, above all, let this unknown non-entity, neither entice our senses to explore anything more about it, nor should it overwhelm us with its presence. Let it simply be.
