Man is obsessed with four things; his life,
reality, his happiness and his ‘I’. The former two are not under his control,
but the latter two are. He can do everything about his happiness and his ‘I’.
If
he replaces his ‘I’ with ‘We’ that includes the entire universe of which he is
an infinitesimal part, everything changes for him. But, that depends on his
understanding and concept of ‘reality’ or ‘the reality of his life, in
particular; and, the reality of life, in general’.
Either
he knows that his ‘I’ is included in ‘We’ and ‘his life ’is included in ‘the
life’ or he does not. Perhaps, there is no quotient to measure this knowledge;
either he knows or he does not. If he does not know, he dies a million deaths
before his death, which he is well aware of. But, if he knows that his ‘I’ is
actually ‘We’ and ‘his life’ is ‘the life’; maybe, he continues living happily,
at least till he can remain settled in this knowledge. The people with great
knowledge invariably referred about this ‘reality’ and called it ‘the truth’.
The
good thing is that the man possesses the natural knowledge of carrying his
obsessions during his journey to happiness, but the bad thing is that he lacks
genuine ‘desire’ and enough courage to resolve his obsessions.
