Being a part of the nature, we cannot and
should not go against the cycles of nature as we have no control over them. The
nature has given us intelligence to think so that we can explore the truth of
the things and act accordingly. Hence, traditionally, we human beings are
explorers of the truth and are thinkers.
There
are also man-made traditions; a few of them have been created by selfless
people having compassionate nature who were primarily concerned about the
welfare of mankind, but many have been socially enforced by selfish people to
get their own interests served by others.
The
human tradition of being a thinker and explorer of the truth must supersede all
man-made traditions; otherwise, human societies may become tools in the hands
of selfish people whose survival entirely depends on attaining physical power
or adopting deceptive ways to make others serve their self interests. We must never
overlook the fact that human violence contributes more to human sufferings than
anything else.
The
traditions created by selfless people for the welfare of mankind may also need
modifications from time to time and changing circumstances; hence, the
tradition of thinking and exploring the truth may be of use in that case also.
