VAGDEVI SPIRITUAL PROCESS [#15056] EXPERIENCING AND EXPERIMENTING

We do not believe easily. We try to know, understand, analyze logically before we trust, that too only partially. Our education and training propels us to develop a skeptical nature. Many among us, after experiencing many failures in their materialistic life try to believe expecting some mental peace and relief, but they hardly succeed. The modern man has surrendered much of his simplicity to his intellectual growth, which is heavily oriented towards his materialistic advancement. We have come very far and it is difficult to simplify our thoughts, conduct and the way we live.

The modern man has a vastly expanded his physical world, both qualitatively and quantitatively.  He did not take what appeared to him for granted, not even the smallest and the simplest of the apparent truths. That is why he could vastly expand his physical world, both qualitatively and quantitatively. He learned that a small effort in the right direction can give him much comfort and a small, misdirected effort can cause an irreparable damage to him. He started believing that he himself had been the cause of what he could do. Although, he often realized that, in fact, he had not been the cause of what happened to him and with him, but he preferred to overlook it, lest his attempts to serve himself were diluted. He also realized that in spite of his physical and intellectual growth he had not been able to make himself as happy as he wanted to be. He wanted to believe that there definitely existed an infinite source of happiness somewhere, but he found himself unable to believe.

Maybe, he can work assiduously to eliminate all what is disoriented, fallacious and illusory in his thinking process. He can also review the logical and argumentative ways he adopts for thinking and analyzing. But, for this, the first and the foremost thing would be to deploy his logical, analytical and argumentative abilities solely for the purpose of exploring what is mentally, physically, intellectually and spiritually beneficial for all, including, particularly the weakest and most deprived among us; and he must know that such abilities must not be used for trying to prove and defend what suits only a few of us mentally, intellectually and physically. It means intellectual efforts for the man’s survival and growth must be for the benefit of all and it must, very importantly, take into consideration the spiritual existence of the mankind that assigns a greater meaning and purpose of life than what is generally understood through man’s sensory interactions with the physical world.

The much intellectually oriented modern man has an option to experiment with the above theory that appears to conform to the universal intelligence. He has to experiment and experience the outcome with utmost honesty and carry out as many modifications as may be progressively needed, as many times as may be necessary. The theory does not appear to be flawed in any way; moreover, it has often been proved flawless in small ways. The above theory does not appear to interfere with human life in any way. The only things that are likely to endanger the application of the above described theory are selfishness and violence, the qualities the man has acquired notwithstanding the fact that selfishness and violence are not part of human nature.

To make use of the option given above depends on us. Maybe, many pilot projects implemented with commitment and honesty will not only satisfy our creative urge, but also add to the knowledge we have. For all one knows this may also enhance our happiness quotient.
