Greed
makes us weak and vulnerable. Self-dependence and absence of greed makes us
courageous. When a self-dependent and selfless person loses, he becomes more
courageous, but when a selfish person who is dependent on others wins, he
becomes more timid.
What we fail to realize is that courage is a permanent asset
and timidity is a liability that is difficult to get rid of. Most battles are
lost because of lack of courage.
