“Let me accomplish this also, thereafter, I will definitely stop participating in worthless races” or “Let me possess that also, then, I will go for only what I really need”. We often try to be a little more careful about our own welfare, thereby, missing several opportunities that our lives present to us to make our lives meaningful.

Objectively determined ‘safety factors’ are specified in cases of machines, depending on the conditions they are expected to operate in, because they have no abilities to enhance their performance of their own. Since the man has the ability to adjust himself, according to his circumstances, and, even enhance his abilities; it is not prudent for him to be extra-cautious about his security and safety at the cost of not doing what he can do and should do to live a meaningful and purposeful life.

Satisfaction about the material aspects of life differ from man to man, from time to time and on the circumstances one finds him to be in. Further, a sense of incompleteness and emptiness is always associated with satisfaction in worldly pursuits. Therefore, whenever, one has noticed an inner urge to live a more meaningful life, he must not postpone his efforts for the future for on the basis of defective notions that security and stability in life can be extended to any limits by putting in extra time and energy.

The modern world does not present an environment much congenial to spiritual growth; hence it is not advisable to postpone efforts to work for a contended and meaningful life. One must be extraordinarily receptive to one’s inner messages prompting him to change.
