Many among
us accept the imperfections of life situations without giving them a much
needed tough fight. By doing this, they aren’t only inviting more imperfections
to creep into their lives, but also allowing the human society, as a whole, to
surrender to an order that make life in the world more miserable than ever
before. We all know it, but hardly do anything to change the order.
It is incorrect to infer that
the entire human race has lost all desire and vigor to put up a fight against
what ails our society. There are a few, definitely not, very few, who try to
struggle against what makes us miserable. However, they often leave the battle
front, sooner or later, when they become physically and mentally exhausted
after realizing that their fights are getting converted into lonely battles,
that they are bound to lose.
The problem is that we tend to
separate our miseries from that of the others, and, often view the
imperfections of life situations as more damaging to us than to the others. In
fact, it is our selfishness that discourage and weakens us from fighting
against the evil, because in that case the imperfections of life situations
become so overwhelmingly intimidating to us that we lose all the courage that
most of us naturally possess.
If we accept the imperfections
of life situations to be as painful to us, as to the others, we will be able to
pay more attention to how must we proactively act to improve the quality of
life, viewing ourselves as a collective whole, instead of wasting our time and
energies in timidly defending ourselves from the ill effects of all pervading
imperfection that we find difficult to get rid of.
